ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS & FEES

We are excited to announce that Online Registration is now open for both Junior and Senior players for the upcoming 2020/2021 cricket season.  For those of you familiar with this mode of registration through other sports such as football, netball, etc., it will be a very similar experience.

For those registering online for the first time, it is a quick and easy process involving the following steps:

  1. Follow this link to the Modbury Cricket Club registration page:

    http://www.playcricket.com.au/club-finder/club-details?Id=1036

  2. Choose the correct age group for your child or Senior/Student Concession registration. (See below for more details on selecting your child’s age group or the first payment option).
  3. At the Cricket Registration page, you'll need the player’s MyCricket ID (Click on Forgot your MyCricket ID, enter player name in popup screen, search for player name in list and enter ID number back at Login screen). If you do not remember your password, click on "Forgot your password" and you will receive an email to reset your password.
  4. Select "Login"
  5. Complete the remaining fields in the Personal Details section of the Registration form and select "Continue"
  6. This will take you to the Review your Order page. Update any details as necessary, agree to the terms and conditions, opt in or out of the Cricket Australia offers, and select "Continue".
  7. This is the payment page. If you are registering a junior player, this is where you need to select whether you are claiming a Sports Voucher discount (Government funded reduction in sporting fees for Primary School aged children). Make sure that you include the correct Medicare number including the Child reference number adjacent to their name.
  8. Payment:You must pay online when registering via the PlayCricket site, (please note there is a small admin fee). Those wishing to enter a payment arrangement, please see below.
  9. This will finalise your registration and you will receive a confirmation email.

COACH EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

This season we are expecting a large number of junior sides spread across all 5 age grades. To make sure that all our future champions are given their best opportunity to shine, we will need a coach for each side. Coaching young children is highly rewarding as many of our existing coaches will attest.  We also encourage parent participation at games and training sessions.

We have a number of fantastic experienced coaches already nominated for this season but there are still more needed, particularly in the younger age groups. If you would like to contribute even in some small way then please let any of the Committee know.
