Woolworths Cricket Blast is a fun and fast program for kids of all abilities to learn the skills and play Australia’s favourite sport.
Buzzing with the energy of big bash cricket, Woolworths Cricket Blast teaches kids how to bat, bowl, field and catch over 8 weeks—all while making new friends.

Time: Saturday 10:00 am to 11:00 am
Duration: 17 October to 5 December (8 weeks)

Junior Blasters is for kids new to cricket with participants building their skills through fun, game based activities. The games are designed for small groups to ensure every child gets a go, allowing them to test and learn new skills. When they have mastered the basics they will be ready to graduate to Master Blasters where they can play modified games of cricket.
Time: Wednesday 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
Duration: 28 October to 17 February (12 week program)
Venue: Alternating venue between Modbury Oval, Golden Grove and Para Hills (more info available following registration)
Master Blasters is a super fun, social, safe, cricket program for boys and girls aged 7 to 10. The program is much shorter than traditional cricket, with a maximum of 90 minutes playing time. All the equipment is supplied and the games take place at the same venue each week, at a local cricket club or community centre The North Eastern Junior Cricket Association (NEJCA) Master Blasters program is designed for boys and girls under the age of 8.5 years of age to enjoy a 12-week program across the 2020/21 season to develop their skills through modified cricket matches. The 90-minute matches will be played against teams from Modbury, Golden Grove and Para Hills with the venue alternating weekly between these three clubs.
